Be the Change.
“Be the change you want to see in the world.” We all know this quote from Gandhi. It has unfortunately become quite over used or is expressed rather flippantly.
Yet this quote is very profound.
Can you BE the change?
We can notice that who we really are is the unchanging One, who is aware of or observing the change.
Change and the changeless are One. They are not two, as seen from a perspective of duality or separation. They arise from the same source of BE-ing.
With meditation, we often want to change our experience, however subtle this shows up in our practice.
Yet, true meditation is to BE with what is. To BE with it, without trying to change it, fix it, find peace or even to relieve suffering. There is no goal in true meditation.
To BE with the change. Or to BE with the no change (if it arises in your awareness as this feeling or perspective)!
The Source of all that is, is Being.
BE the Change.
