Hi, I’m Kristina and I do The Work of Byron Katie.
I live a life of Self Inquiry.
Before The Work, I was often fighting with life/myself in either a subtle or not so subtle way.
I was wildly idealistic and suffered a great deal under this neverending belief and pursuit of how things should or could be! This tendency, coupled with a brutal inner critic resulted in never feeling good enough or that my life, as it was, was never quite enough. This had the effect of an endless loop of spiritual seeking in order to reach the heights (or depths) of something beyond this simple, ordinary life.
Although I considered that I had a pretty good life, when I started to deeply question the underlying beliefs, I uncovered a lot of buried anger, fear and misery.
The Work helped me to love what IS in my life, however it was appearing and this happened to include all of myself!
It also helped me to deeply connect and trust my own inner wisdom and to live from that recognition.
It sounds so simple, which it really IS (!) and this is what I love most about this practice of self-inquiry.
It’s not complicated and anyone who has an interest in Truth and living a more happy and fulfiling life, can do this work.
I always believed what Socrates said - that an unexamined life is not worth living - and truly, there is nothing more fulfilling than living a real, authentic life true to your own values. To me, this is the liberation I was seeking for so many years.
I love this work and the profound insights and clarity it has revealed. I live and breathe this work and it has become a way of being, a way of questioning and also seeing life as it really IS and not filtered through my distorted belief system.
Every moment is a new opportunity for me to fully live in alignment with my deepest values - Truth, Love and Beauty - not as a concept, but as a daily expression of this precious life.
It is my great honour and privilege to meet others who have the courage to do this work and discover for themselves the great liberation and freedom it offers.
