Be Human.

Human Being.

The clues are there. The signs are obvious.

How often do you avoid your human-ness?

How much of your spiritual seeking is really a form of escapism; to avoid this human experience, to deny the reality that to be human, is to acknowledge the existence of suffering?

To be human is to suffer. This is the first noble Truth of Buddhism.

Can you accept your humanness? Can you accept the existence of suffering?

The irony is that when we DO accept it, we can rest in that. We don’t have to run from it, escape from it or deny it. We can BE with it. We can be Here… on earth… in our body. Grounded.

Rather than try to be “more than human”, “enlightened”, “divine” or “god-like”… why not stop this game, and just be what you are?

Human.

Human BE-ing.

You do not experience suffering.
You are suffering your experience.

Earth is actually heaven; our unquestioned thoughts about it can make it seem like hell.
