Prakriti
In 2017 during one of my meditations, a contemplation spontaneously arose from inside - “How shall I best serve life now?” At this time, I felt quite surrendered to life and its unfolding; content to continue what I was doing and yet equally open to change. The question really presented itself from inside… and so I honestly didn’t expect something to answer, but suddenly I heard a voice very clearly say “Prakriti”. Somehow, I knew from previous experience that this was Papaji guiding me.
I had never heard the word before so immediately got up and started to google it. Ever since then, it has been like a mystery that is constantly evolving.
Prakriti means nature/source.
Pra means "beginning" and kriti means "creation".
Prakriti is symbolic of creative, feminine energy - that which is always changing. This energy is present in everyone - both male and female. At this point in the evolution of human awareness, it is the time when feminine energy is needed, to bring the world back into wholeness/balance.
One aim of prakriti is to reconnect to the energy of mother nature in order to achieve balance, awaken our primal power and return to our natural state of Being. When we let go of all we think we know, we return to a state of openness and innocence; in short, we have a beginner's Mind. Much like a child's view of the world, we rediscover the simply joys and delights of being alive.
Prakriti is in a dance with Purusha. Purusha is the Consciousness which is unchanging, permanent and always Here, right now. We are always free - regardless of all that is changing, coming and going.
The design of this logo is based on ancient Sanskrit and Sacred Geometry - embedding both the Seed of Life/Flower of Life, the colours of the Chakras (energy wheels) as well as the Heart Chakra symbol. Sacred Geometry is about the sacred nature of the Universe; everything is energy and vibration. The geometric forms and mathetmatical principles found in sacred geometry reflect the underlying perfection found in nature.
The Heart Chakra is associated with balance, calmness and serenity. In Sanskrit it is called Anahata अनाहत and means "unhurt", "unstruck" and "unbeaten".
When you know who you are, the whole world could turn against you but it will not matter for you are one who is deeply at home in the heart of your own Being.
This is the invitation.
In the wise words of Sri Nisargadatta Maharaj, a great Sage from India:
“Wisdom tells me I am nothing. Love tells me I am everything.
Between the two my life flows.”
